The video page has been updated with a sample map creation session. In this hour-long session I walk through the process of creating a detail fantasy map of a tavern.

This is the first long, single session recording that I’ve done. Typically I record samples using Fraps, but for videos of this length, it’s impractical. I discovered (using FFSplit) that I can’t run full-screen 1920×1080 and record at a decent framerate. For the next session, I’ll experiment with different screen resolutions to get a better result.
